Situated on a mound and reached by a path of slate slabs, important
ancient monuments in this temple include the main bell-shaped chedi in the on a
square base with porches to enshrine Buddha images on the four sides of the
lower base, a vihara base made of laterite and paved with stone, brick and
stone buildings for monks to practice insight meditation, and a pond dug in laterite.
This is situated on the hill in Aranyik area. The main sanctuary is a round Singhalese-style chedi decorated with four niches. On the east are a viharn and four small stone edifices. On the north is a stone pond.
