This is situated outside the southern city wall 1,150 meters away from Wat Mahathat. A Brick Singhalese-style chedi enshrines Buddha images in niches. The brick viharn contains a handless stucco Buddha image. Fine votive tablets called Sanaechan are found here.
200 metres to the south of Wat Ton Chan, this temple is well known for
its terracotta votive tablets known as Sane Chan. The large
bell-shaped chedi is made of brick with porches on four sides
enshrining Buddha images. East of the chedi is a brick vihara with
laterite columns to support the tiled roof.
